You can describe Plagiarism as coping, some part of useful topic or basic writing theme on that particular subject related post from another site owner without informing him. But you can avoid so giving a link Credit to original content owner site. In one sentence, you can say Plagiarism is stealing useful ideas from another.

Example: If you are writing a post on ‘organic potato farming and production’ and on the way of your article writing you found that it is important to include some sentences based on ‘how to improve production of organic potato farming using CFL Lights’. Now! on that moment you search for some sites related to your required topic, you got the best solution based on your topic and you directly paste the contents to your site without giving a Link Credit to original site, it is Plagiarism.

Note: You can protect your original pages from Plagiarism using Copyscape . The Copyscape can help finding word-to-word copies of content on the internet. Visit at copyscape.com get your logo and get your site protected against Plagiarism.
